It hasn’t even been twenty hours and it’s already #32 on Amazon. If you can’t believe it, trust me, neither can I. I was terrified when I finished the first solid draft of it after making a dozen changes to the plot and characters. What started off as a book I wanted to write sort-of like Under Locke turned into something else completely.

I love how relatable this sounds. Adult life rarely goes according to plan, and characters who are doing their best while juggling family, work, and personal struggles always feel the most authentic to me.
